    Challenges

Generally, I like my new Widex Allure hearing aids. They’re advertised as the best for musicians, and I can’t see why. However, I’m having issues when I sing and play through my PA system, as the tone seems to automatically adjust from sharp to mild, which is difficult to deal with.

Thank you Mickey for taking the time to share your experience with the Widex Allure 440 R D! We're pleased to hear that you generally like your new hearing aids and appreciate your honest feedback about their performance.

We understand your frustration with the automatic tone adjustments when you're singing and performing through your PA system. The Widex Allure series does include sophisticated sound processing technology that's designed to adapt to different acoustic environments, but we recognize this can sometimes work against musicians who need more consistent sound characteristics during performances.

Your specific feedback about the tone shifting from sharp to mild during musical activities is valuable information. This type of automatic adjustment can indeed be challenging for musicians who require precise and predictable sound reproduction, especially when performing with amplified equipment like PA systems.

We appreciate you giving the Widex Allure 440 R D a 4-star rating despite these performance challenges, and your insights will help other musicians understand what to expect from these hearing aids in musical settings.
